- Payment & Subscription Data: Subscription billing for paid tiers is processed through compliant payment providers. We do not store credit card numbers on QueueByt infrastructure.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Log Data & Analytics: We automatically log network access details, including IP address, browser type, operating system, page response latency, and queue transaction logs.
- Cookies & Local Storage: Essential session cookies and local storage tokens are used to authenticate active user sessions and retain interface preferences.
2. Google User Data & OAuth Scopes
When you sign in to QueueByt using Google Single Sign-On (SSO) or connect Google Workspace services, we request access to specific Google user data:
- Google Account Profile & Email (`openid`, `profile`, `email`): We request access to your basic Google profile information (name, profile picture URL, and verified primary email address) solely to authenticate your identity, create your QueueByt account, and deliver transactional notifications.
- Storage of Google User Data: Google user profile data (name, email address, and Google account ID) is securely stored in our cloud database to manage user authorization and session persistence.
Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
QueueByt’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not share Google user data with advertising networks or data brokers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process collected information for specific operational purposes:
- Queue & Booking Management: Generating live queue positions, validating digital ticket identifiers, updating estimated wait times, and syncing appointment schedules.
- Transactional Communications: Dispatching real-time queue status notifications, booking confirmations, account authentication magic links, and operational updates via email or SMS.
- Security & Infrastructure Protection: Monitoring system integrity, preventing rate-limit violations, guarding against unauthorized API access, and ensuring database security.
4. How We Share & Disclose Information
We strictly enforce a policy against selling, renting, or leasing user data. Data disclosure is limited to the following necessary conditions:
- With Queue Hosting Organizations: When an end user registers for an appointment or joins a queue, necessary ticket metadata (name, phone number, and booking notes) is shared with the hosting organization operating that specific queue.
- Core Service Infrastructure: We engage trusted third-party cloud service providers (such as Supabase for database hosting and transactional communication services) solely to perform infrastructure operations under strict data processing agreements.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required under applicable laws, lawful subpoena, or official judicial proceedings.
5. Data Retention & Deletion Requests
We retain personal data and Google user data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide live queue services.
User Account & Google Data Deletion: You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To request deletion:
- Send an email to support@queuebyt.space with the subject line
"Account Data Deletion Request"from your registered email address. - Upon receipt, all personal account metadata, saved profile records, and stored Google OAuth tokens will be permanently erased from our primary database within 30 days.
6. Data Storage & Security
We implement industry-standard database security controls, including Row-Level Security (RLS) policies, SSL/TLS transport layer encryption, and restricted administrator authorization to protect user data from unauthorized access or alteration.
