These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of QueueByt (“we,” “our,” or “us”), available at https://queuebyt.space. By creating an account, accessing, or using our appointment booking and live queue management platform (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account or using any aspect of QueueByt, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization or business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

QueueByt provides an online software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for real-time virtual queue management, customer check-in, appointment scheduling, and automated queuing notifications. We reserve the right to modify, update, or temporarily suspend any aspect of the Services for scheduled maintenance or performance upgrades.

3. Accounts & OAuth Authentication

To access certain features of QueueByt, you must register for an account. You may register directly or authenticate using supported Single Sign-On (SSO) options, such as Google OAuth.

  • Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete profile information during registration.
  • Credential Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • OAuth Permissions: When using Google OAuth to sign in, you grant QueueByt permission to access basic profile details (email address, full name, and avatar URL) strictly for authentication and account administration as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the Services or assist others in doing so. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Use automated scripts or bots to manipulate live queue positions or reserve unauthorized appointment slots.
  • Attempt to bypass, reverse engineer, or breach rate limits, authentication controls, or database row-level security mechanisms.
  • Transmit fraudulent, abusive, or spam communications through our queuing or messaging features.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the performance, servers, or infrastructure connected to QueueByt.

5. Service Provider & Queue Operations

Organizations, business administrators, and service providers utilizing QueueByt to manage customer queues are solely responsible for:

  • Honoring scheduled appointments and managing live customer wait times in a fair and non-discriminatory manner.
  • Ensuring that any custom customer intake fields comply with applicable privacy regulations.
  • Obtaining appropriate consent prior to triggering transactional SMS or email alerts to end customers.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to QueueByt, including software code, branding, logos, user interface designs, and documentation, are and will remain the exclusive property of QueueByt and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform in accordance with these Terms.

7. Account Termination & Deletion

You may terminate your account at any time by submitting a request to support@queuebyt.space. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks to our platform.

Upon account termination, your right to access the platform will cease immediately, and stored personal profile data will be removed in accordance with our data deletion procedures.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. QueueByt does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability or error-free queue processing.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QueueByt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the platform.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms from time to time. Updated revisions will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” timestamp. Continued usage of the Services following posted updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
